New Zealand Unique Cavies is a club for Cavy (Guinea Pigs) Pedigree Breeds that are Exclusive and/or Rare in New Zealand. Some of our Unique Cavy Breeds were established in the 1970's and continue to be exhibited at Independent NZ Cavy Club shows. Unique Cavy Breeds are Equal to All Breeds and are not to be discounted because they are an Exclusive NZ Breed. It's fantastic to have Pedigree Cavy Breeds created in NZ!
Raising awareness for the Unique and Rare Breeds and five Independent Cavy Clubs that supports exhibitors to continue to show all Cavy Breeds.
